Sibos 2014

With Sibos in 2014 held in Boston, USA, SWIFT is looking to deliver a more highly tech-driven conference which is appropriate given the rise in cyber threats. Overall, there has also been an increase in regulation as well as the overall impact that innovation has had. This is one of the most anticipated events of the year, with many involved in the global financial services industry gathering to discuss areas involving payments, securities, cash management and trade.

In the Asia region, banks have seen a recent expansion in transaction banking activities as they move with clients across Asia and break out into US and European markets. The Middle East and Africa markets have also started to gain the attentions of Asian banks. Connectivity has been seen as one of the key areas they face challenges in as they meet the rigours of currency and jurisdiction. Stay tuned to this page as we bring you the latest updates from Sibos 2014.
